Well, another day is starting as almost everyone I know is going to bed. That is going to take some getting use to. I'm not so sure I'm okay with it. Luckily, I have an insomniac friend : ) Well, lucky for me, not for her probably.
I did sign up for a real phone number on Skype, and I signed up to be able to call real phone numbers. I'm very excited about that. We'll see if I get to actually talk to anyone, since the time is so off.
So, right now I'm sitting on the floor, with Rocco. He is playing with his little play mat that he just yesterday either figured out how to make it sing, or just now accidentally makes it sing. Today we're going to go out to Palm City at 12, to enjoy the beautifulness and actual home feeling. I also have a recipe I've been wanting to make, so that will be fun. Rob is going to come out after work to watch the Super Bowl that he recorded. I asked them for a car at 12, but I wasn't so sure they understood. I guess we'll see.
Yesterday was pretty uneventful. I just stayed at home, unpacking, watching Seinfeld and the Duggars. I did find a roach...which is always terrifying. It was dead. I hear that's a good sign that they probably already sprayed for them, and there shouldn't be too many left. Makes my skin crawl. I asked the cleaning lady if they are everywhere. She said, 'no, not everywhere'. That was less than reassuring.
We also walked down to the beach that is right down the road from us. The water is SO beautiful! I'm glad that's all you can see from our house. The actual beach is just rocks and trash. Down the other way on our street, is a pretty busy road, with a lot shops and people. We found a little baby store there. They had so many really cute clothes! They did have a few where the English was a little off. One said "I'm leaving to have a baby!" I assume that it meant "I'm going to have a baby!".
Well, anyway, I guess I should start doing productive things!
Hope everyone is sleeping well!
(The picture is from Palm City, and the video is of Rocco eating some avocado. I think he is starting to like it)
I love the look on his face when the avocado is in his mouth! Looks as though he may like his fist better! =)
