Combination Blender/Mixer

If you can put two appliances together...why not, right? haha

Today has been a great day. I slept in some, which is a nice surprise. I have been battling the cleaning lady that comes in every morning at 9am. Nine doesn't seem early, but it is. I am usually up by at least 6, but 9 in still early to start having company. Not to mention that it's always a battle inside my head about this cleaning lady thing. I don't want to tell her she doesn't need to come every day, because I don't want to her to not have anything to do and get in trouble. But I also don't think that my floors need cleaned every single day. (I must say, I do really enjoy my bed being made. She could just come in and make my bed every day and I'd be happy) So, this morning I chained the door and ignored her polite barging in. She does barge. Just because you knock and wait not even 5 seconds does not mean you didn't barge in.

After I finally got going, I went over to Lynn's to color and cut her hair. That was good time.

After that, we went to what I thought was a beauty supply store...it was. Kind of. They sold a few random things, but not what I needed. I will probably go back, to see if I can't buy a chair there. That would be really nice, to have a chair that spins, and goes up and down again. At home hair is kind of a pain in that area. Better than nothing, but kind of a pain compared to a salon.

We went to lunch at a Turkish restaurant. It was SO good. SO good. We had lentil soup, (Christina, I think you would have really liked this restaurant. If you can sneak into the country, I'd recommend you go : ) hummus and pitas, and a couple tomatoey salads. But the best part was the cheese bread. Oh man. I think I'd compare it to a quesadilla. It's so much better though.

Here's my edit...I was told it was a foot washer...It's just a regular old bidet. Good thing I didn't wash my feet in it. Haha.
