Christmas

We had such a nice Christmas this year! I feel so blessed to be where we are and that we were able to spend it with family. It was the first year Santa came for Rocco. He didn't seem too into Santa, but he didn't tell us we were crazy! :)

Better Late Than Never!

Rocco started his potty training today! He had one accident, but I had forgotten to ask if he needed to go. So it was kind of my fault. I guess he was finally ready! I know I was ready to stop buying his diapers. He was also in a size 6, which is as high as they go. So it needed to happen soon! Say a little potty prayer for us! ;)

My Sweet Babies

I absolutely adore these faces!! Even after a long, sometimes stressful day of exploding diapers, tears, and messy rooms, their precious little smiles make it all worth it. Not to say I don't still need a drink! :)

Smarty Pants

Santa Clause...

Is coming to town! I love the Santa at Boise Town Square. He has kind eyes, and a nice beard. Rocco met him and told him what he wants for Christmas. It's an odd request, but he's been wanting it since the beginning of October :)
Owie didn't put in any requests for Santa.

12 Days of Baby Owie

Everything is going really well here! Our baby boys (okay, only one of them is technically a baby) are adjusting beautifully to all the changes and I am ALMOST finished unpacking from the shipment that arrived day before yesterday. Baby Jack (or Howie, whatever you want to call him. We started calling him Howie when he was still in the belly, and it just kind of stuck. Rocco calls him Baby Owie. Feel free to call him that, or his real name, Jack. Also, yes, we do realize that technically Rocco and Jack have the same first name. But who knew Jack is a nickname for John?? I didn't :) as long as everyone is confused by our children's names, we're satisfied!) is 12 days old today and is doing the normal baby thing. He's started throwing his head around quite a bit, and is eating and gaining weight like a champ! So I'm happy with that.
Also, any and all prayers we can get directed toward my little niece, Charlie, will be so appreciated!

Hope everyone is having a good weekend, and maybe somewhere out there it's snowing for some lucky people :) We haven't seen any worth talking about here in Boise. Which to some is a good thing, but not for me.

Well, we voted!!

It didn't quite turn out the way we wanted, but our ballots were cast, our opinions were heard, and ultimately proven a waste of time :)

(just kidding, I am proud to have been part of giving all four Idaho votes to Mitt)

Next on the list of life events: a due date in exactly two weeks (it was changed back to the 21st from the 16th per our request)! The hopes: going into labor before they try to induce me. The reality: I'll probably have to be induced shortly after Thanksgiving. I'll keep you all updated!

Happy Halloween!!

While I didn't go as far as to buy Rocco a new costume this year, we did visit a few houses in last year's costume. He enjoyed it a lot more than I thought he would, which was petty cute. He decided after seeing another boy, that Spider-Man would be his costume next year. :)

Moving Day!

We're all packed and it's heading out today! Rocco and I have another two and a half days here, then we get shipped out for almost two days of traveling. Leaving is bittersweet, but I think once we get there it will be really great! Even if it's only because we won't be traveling anymore :)

Rocco and I have been sick the last couple days, which has put a damper on doing fun lasts in this beautiful city. I'm hoping to get in a few things before Sunday night though. Also, we sold the car a few days ago, so that makes it kind of hard to get around so easily. Being so pregnant, sick, and trying to have fun isn't as easy as it sounds.

In other news, plans have changed a little. I'll be in Idaho in less than a week, and we have an apartment almost rented! Just need to sign the lease when I get into town and move in. Move what in? Well, we'll cross that bridge when we get to it. Rocco loves bridges, so it should be fun.

The Fun Stuff

Here are some pictures from last weekend before Beka and Channing headed home. And I thin ka few from before. Enjoy!

It was Australian Father's Day, so they had a sausage sizzle at church.

Although we do have a washing machine now, we are still frequenting the  laundromat. The second time we used it, the hose broke and water sprayed EVERYWHERE. So, I gave up and decided that I can go to do it there a few more times before we move. I can't wait for things that make sense again :)

One of my all time favorite pictures of Rocco! This was the last rainy day we had, so Rocco and I went on an "adventure" while Rob was at school. He thought it was fun.

We actually just took the bus down to the store...but he LOVES the bus, as I have mentioned.

Beka and Channing introduced us to a bridge at the zoo! Rocco adores bridges, so this was exciting. It's in the botanical garden area that we have been felt so inclined to visit. We were missing out! He ran over and over it.

This was our picnic in King's park. It's such an amazing park, with awesome views. You'd probably have to see it to really understand how awesome it is.

Well, we got Beka and Channing off that weekend, and have been missing them since! It was so fun having them here!
