Oh the Weekend...

   We spent the afternoon out at Palm City today. They have a great pool there. They also are among the few that serve food during the daylight hours of Ramadan. So we had lunch and tried to get some sun on our pasty selves. Bryson accompanied us, and Kyle met us a little later. I see a lot of people you blog, only use the first initial of peoples names. Is that blogging etiquette? I guess I could change my ways if I should... : )

So, I also found out that it is possible to order food items on Amazon.com! While that would be extremely exciting, the cost of shipping is way too high to take advantage. Although I might break down and buy some tortilla chips. The jury is out. Don't tell Rob : )
Something else I am really craving right now is Haribo's grapefruit gummi candy. I first tried it at Powell's in Bown Crossing. When I found them on Amazon last night it got me excited and wanting them all over again. Probably best that I can't have them, gelatin isn't exactly a favorite...the crushed up bone and all.
  Rocco is a crawling fool these days. Our apartment is actually pretty nice for that. If I close all the doors, it's like we live in a giant play pen. No stairs, nothing really for him to get into. The plugs are half way up the wall, so he can't mess with those. He does like to pull all the DVDs off the TV stand. With the DVDs being only 2 dinar each, we have a lot. So it makes quite the mess.

    Anyway, it seems that it's already after 8 and I need to think about getting dinner. So, hope everyone is doing well, and having good summer days. I hear Idaho is having fun events this weekend and am sad I'll miss out.
