Drawing Class

I don't know if you remember, but I mentioned that I'd be starting a drawing class during the month of August. It's 10 two hour classes, every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday from 4-6. I'm really glad I had this chance, it's been fun. It's held at an art studio. It's called Casa Lounge. The teacher is the husband of a woman that works with Rob. Well, same company. He is a professor at the Art Institute of Dallas when he isn't in Libya.
Anyway, here are a few pictures.
This first one is the front door. It's a big thick wooden door, it's pretty cool.
This is the inside. There is an upstairs, kind of like a loft.

We've been drawing a lot of hands. Our own hands. This is one I'm working on right now. Hands are a lot harder than they look. This one isn't done, I have to go get a pen to finish it.

Here's Rocco, making his own lovely art : )

This picture is what I'm using for my final project. It's one that Rob took in Rome. I hope it turns out cool, I
                       I really like this picture!
So, that's what I, Mel, have been up to this last couple weeks.
Also, and update...ONE WEEK ( ! ) until we leave! Actually, we will be boarding our plane in exactly one week from right now. Well, Ideally. It's still the Tripoli airport we're departing from... ; )

Hope everyone had a good weekend!

  2. Rocco would love to have Crayola Wonder Pens. Actually, you will love for him to have them since it only show up on special paper instead of the walls and funiture.
