"So take me back to Constantinople
No, you can't go back to Constantinople
Been a long time gone, Constantinople
Why did Constantinople get the works?
That's nobody's business but the Turks"
I've had this song stuck in my head ever since we decided to go to Istanbul next week! I couldn't figure out what song it was, I just had the tune, and the Istanbul part playing over and over. I thought for awhile it was "Puttin' on the Ritz", but no...it was this one!! You should really listen to it, it's very catchy.
Anyway, we are going to Istanbul next weekend with Bryson and Emily! It should be a really fun trip. We are only going for two nights, and one full day. Rob is already mapping out the Starbucks there : )

We finished the fist half of our scuba lessons! I have mixed feelings about the whole thing, while Rob is in love. I think I will really like it, when I have distractions. I don't exactly like the limited breathing part...I am more of a free breather. You know? Like a breather...a yawner...a cougher. You name it, I like to do it. You can't yawn under water, you can't cough under water! Anyway, Rob has a handicap with me as his "buddy", but it's nice for me, to know that he's keeping an eye out, making sure I am still breathing... We are taking lessons from A guy named Nasar. He's great, we all really like him. You can look at his Facebook
HERE.

Rocco is enjoying bath time here. I had to give him a bath to wash away all the beets! He is trying all kinds of new things. He will seriously eat ANYTHING! Well, except banana. Who really wants to eat a banana though? Can we blame him?
Alright, I'm out. Hope everything, and everyone is doing well. Not melting like we are!
Bananas are my favorite! It must be Rob's side of the family...
ReplyDeleteYuck! I don't like bananas.
ReplyDeleteWhich one of you?
ReplyDeletehaha, which one of you...as I recall Rob hates and Mel isn't a huge fan of how sweet they are.
ReplyDeleteI wrote that. When I was pregnant I got really sick from a peanut butter and banana sandwich...Rob eats them sometimes. He said he use to not like them, but they are alright now.
