We just got home from Malta! It was a really fun few days, but I could have used maaybe two more days. Next time we go, I'd like to go to the Blue Lagoon and go snorkeling. Also, a little more relaxing, and a lot less walking is on the agenda for next time. We saw Mdina, Velletta, ate at Hard Rock Cafe a few times, and laid out by the pool.

We got to fly business class for the long 30 min flight to Malta. Which, isn't that big of a deal, except for the cookies in the lounge in Tripoli. The coffee was delicious also. Here's a picture of Rocco trying it out for himself. He's naughty.
Isn't that a great picture of them? I love it.

This is us outside Mdina. There was a REALLY good restaurant right inside that we ate at. Rocco has been teething though, so he had a rough time there. The food was SO good. I had soup and bread, Rob had pasta with shrimp I think. The garlic bread was the best I've ever had, hands down.

Of course we had to get the tourist fedoras : ) In the back round you can see one of the old buses they use. They throw you around a lot, but are only half a euro, compared to the 20 or so for a taxi.

Rocco has been eating all kinds of new foods lately. Mostly because he gets so angry when I eat without him. So, I share.

We start SCUBA tomorrow!! I'm really excited. Both for scuba (or course) and for the few hours that Rocco with be entertained by the neighbors : ) Also, here is a note that I'll leave you with from the Tripoli airport. I hope you can read it.
He has the best smile, just like his mama!
ReplyDeleteHi! I love your blog! I was just curious.. theres scuba diving in Tripoli??? I didnt know that!! Can you give me the name and contact details or location of the company thats giving the lessons? Thanks!
ReplyDelete"...and remember always that law do not protect stupidest"
ReplyDeleteHow they determine who is The Stupidest? We laughed and laughed.
Make sure to always take Rocco away from the drug route so that you aren't picked to be The Stupidest. It doesn't sound like things go so well..

ReplyDeleteIt's called Scuba Libya. The instructor's name is Nasar, he's really nice. We are doing two weekends I think 6 hours a day. : ) You should try it!
Catie...isn't that a great sign?? I guess it's probably best that law does not protect The Stupidest...who wants them around anyway? I think they have been hanging out with your Koreans.
