Scuba Rob, meet Scuba Mel.

We went scuba diving!! This is a picture of us on our first real dive. We didn't see a whole lot of interesting things, but we were 18 1/2 meters on the bottom of the Mediterranean. That's pretty cool in itself.
Here we are putting all the million pound gear. On top of the HUGE tank you strap to your back, (well, technically under it) you have a weight belt! Just in case I could barely walk before.

We don't have an underwater camera, so we don't have any pictures of us actually in the water. Although, someone did bring up the idea that we should just download the underwater camera app on our phones. Yeah, that should do the trick.

So, there you go, and there will be more tomorrow probably.
It was really fun, a lot better than the pool. It does help that no one was trying to share my air, and I didn't have to practice any safety tricks. just got to swim and breath. A lot less stressful : )
The countdown is on! 1 week, four days until I get to fly back to Idaho!! I'm so excited to see my mom! I haven't seen her since Christmas. I wish Rob was coming with me, but he'll be close behind a couple weeks later. Also, while I'm counting down, when I get back from Idaho, it's only 1 month, and 1 day until we go to                  DC and NYC. I'm pretty excited.
