Here's why:
When Burger King moved to expand its operations into Australia, it found that its business name was already trademarked by a takeaway food shop in Adelaide.[1] As a result, Burger King provided the Australian franchisee, Jack Cowin, with a list of possible alternative names derived from pre-existing trademarks already registered by Burger King and its then corporate parent Pillsbury that could be used to name the Australian restaurants. Cowin selected the "Hungry Jack" brand name, one of Pillsbury's US pancake mixture products, and slightly changed the name to a possessive form by adding an apostrophe 's' forming the new nameHungry Jack's.[2] The first Australian franchise of Burger King Corporation was established in Innaloo, Perth on 18 April 1971, under the auspices of Cowin's new company Hungry Jack's Pty, Limited.[3] "Jack" has since been adopted as the name for the Burger King himself in the company's main franchise.

Anyway, I think we met him today.
He was HUGE, as you can see, and was looking over Two Rocks Beach with his happy face.
We took a baby road trip about an hour out of town to see some new sights. We had plans to go camping, but it has been raining so much that we didn't think we should chance it. Which was good, because last night it rained so hard it woke me up. That wouldn't have been fun in a tent.
Maybe next weekend, but I think it's only going to get rainier.
So that's what we did today. Now for another week! Rob is in his last bit of the semester, and will have a long break from school soon. That will be nice to have him home in the evenings. It seems crazy that we have been here that long already. Time flies no matter where you are or what you're doing I guess!
