they said there would be elephants.

The past week or so I've been feeling a little under the weather. Today, the weather cleared a little, I thought I should get Rocco of the house for awhile. We were waiting for the bus to the park, (which, admittedly is the lazy way to get there...it's totally within walking distance. I feel better now.) which is the same bus that takes us downtown. So, I asked Rocco if he would rather go to the zoo, or to the park. He very excitedly settled on the zoo. Rob's office is about a block from where we change busses on our way to the zoo so we met him for lunch on the way. Which is actually a normal Friday occurrence, I'm not sure why we weren't planning on going today. (I'm rambling, I know. Sorry.)
Anyway, Rocco wanted the zoo, so we went to the zoo. I was taking him there once a week before I found the first trimester narcolepsy, nausea, and general laziness. So we hadn't been in a month or so. He was so much better this time! It was pretty fun. He was so excited to see all the animals he ran to every one. Which is a pretty big change from the slow, uninterested meandering he did before. This time I had to hurry to keep up!
So, long story short, he's a pretty great zoo friend in his old age.

After a little nap, we went to a mexican restaurant in Northbridge called Zapatas. It was pretty good, but like Australia, it's far from Mexico/an.
Now we are watching Get The Gringo for the second time. It's a really good movie, but definitely not for the faint of heart. There's violence upon violence...which I hate. It's worth closing my eyes through a lot of it.
Alright, that's enough rambling for one night.
