just touched down in London town

Hello Lovelies!! Have you missed us?

We are home from our travels, and ready for some rest! Luckily for me, I can rest. Rob, on the other hand, has work tomorrow. So, send him your energy for the day!
I'll tell you about the first city we visited, and the next two will follow shortly.
We spent three days in London, soaking up the local color, history, and of course, FOOD! A few things we saw were the London Tower, the crown jewels, Notting Hill (places from the movie), Hyde Park, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, and Parliament. We did the hop on hop off bus tour, so I think we saw pretty much everything there is to see.
We stopped in at Guerilla Burger for lunch on Saturday. YUM.

Although, one thing I wanted to visit was Abbey Road, but we got lost looking for it, so, I guess that's saved for next time we are there.
Anyway, here are a few pictures from the few days spent in London Town...

London Tower was our favorite by far. Inside are the crown jewels. The worlds largest diamond is set in one of the crowns there. It was so huge! 530 carats. The doors to get in the room where they are kept was crazy huge. I'd say it was at least two feet thick. It was like being in a huge safe.

We went to the street market in Notting Hill. It was pretty cool, but nothing really great.

Soon we were on a plane and headed to Washington DC. It's always a rough trip to go through so many time zones, but it felt great
to arrive in the States!
