Hi everyone!
Here's a picture from the Fremantle Prison tour we did this weekend. It was fun, but I think what would be more fun is the tunnels tour they have. Personally, I'm not so sure I could handle the tunnel part. Which I hear is the main attraction. After the pyramids in Cairo, I'm well aware that I shouldn't spend money to squeeze into tight spaces. It doesn't last very long :)According to our guide, this is the most photographed toilet in the world. Upon further investigation, it turns out he spoke too soon. There are a few toilets who claim just that. Regardless, I had to get a picture just in case his stories were true.
(Rocco was confined to the stroller pretty much the whole tour, what with all the negative energy and bad joo joo flying around from dead, angry, and generally unhappy prisoners, so I didn't get any good pictures of him.)
Other than that...OH! I told you all about the cleanse Rob and I were starting a couple weeks ago. I must say, I had the best of intentions, and even some stubbornness, but hunger won out in the end. End? Well, the end of "lunch" on the second day. As it turns out, tiny babies do NOT dig their homes starving them to death. I was so hungry I wanted to cry! I didn't realize why at the time, but it sure made sense once those pink little lines started showing up.
So, that's where we're at now, not cleansed at all (at least not via starvation), and coming up on a plus one. Or maybe two? :)
(It's actually way too early to even be telling people, so consider it a pre-announcement. I'll let you know if and when there is a heartbeat to be heard, that's when the real good news begins!)
I'll let you all know how that goes. I don't know any details at all right now, and won't for another month. The healthcare here is a real bother. Not the most efficient way of doing things, that's for sure.
I guess that's all. It's officially my birthday now that's it's 12:49am, and I think I'll go to bed. So, happy birthday to/from me, you all get a juicy piece of information to add to your memory bank. At least I hope you put it there!
EDIT: This is post 222, which seems like good luck. Right? I think so.
there used to be a TV show called Room 222... Now you have an excuse to EAT!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the pink lines! I hope you are doing well. I miss all of you.
