Hi All!
Well, yesterday was Australia Day. Here are a few pictures of the festivities...
Here you go, Aunt Karen... :)
It was SOO hot all day! I think it got as high as 104. By the time we were leaving the house it was raining. Which cooled everything down quite nicely. We went to a little house party where we could see the fireworks and air show right from the balcony. It was so nice, and only a little rainy.
Fireworks
That was a bright flash...
Everybody!
When Rocco proclaimed to everyone he had "poop. diaper.", it was time to go. In and attempt to keep things simple, I hadn't brought any bags (which would have contained spare diapers)...which ironically made things a little harder.Unfortunately, what we didn't realize was that the busses stopped running through the city after 6. We caught one of the last ones in, but had to walk back home. While it was technically only 2 and some miles...it felt like as at least 4! It was up hill some, and I was NOT wearing walking shoes. Luckily Rob was feeling chivalrous and pushed Rocco's stroller almost the whole time.
Alright! Well, today is the day! The matriarch is returning, so fun can start!! :)
It looks like you're having way too much fun!
ReplyDeleteI love the pics, but miss you guys!

ReplyDeleteDear Mel,
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for posting the pictures of Bryson! Of course, I want to see pictures of all of you, too....including the matriarch, whoever that may be:) Looks like a wonderful, hot time. I will try to post this, but usually I have to resort back to FB. Love, Aunt Karen
