The Rainy City (Sans Rain)

We got to visit Seattle last week! The weather was perfect, the drive was easy, and the fun was...fun.

Rocco was so good in the car. Especially on the way there, when he slept more than half of it.
Triple Doubles...blowing your mind? It's an oreo cookie, double stuff "frosting", oreo cookie, then chocolate "frosting", then another oreo cookie. WHOA.

We stopped at Snoqualmie Falls on our way. On our honeymoon we stayed at a hotel that looks over this waterfall, so we wanted to stop real quick to say hi again.

He was ready for an adventure.

We found the original Starbucks first, of course.

Breakfast was at Portage Bay. They had really good french toast, with a toppings bar. So good.

Kind of a long wait though...

The next day, we went to the Aquarium. Rocco had a lot of fun running around looking at the different fish. We heard 'WHOAAA' and 'LOOK!' a lot.

He wasn't digging this one though...he ran away.

We ate at the top of the Space Needle. Another thing we did on our honeymoon and wanted to relive.

I got to bring home some flowers! They are SO pretty in the market. I'm sure if you've been to Seattle, you've been to market and seen them. They are my favorite part for sure. By now, they are starting to look a little wilted though. Also on my list to get, honey. I love honey.

We had a really good trip to Seattle. We did everything we were hoping to do...a perk of having our own car. Usually we wear ourselves out on public transportation and walking.

Also, Rocco started talking so much more on this trip. It was like he woke up and could speak in sentences! Weird, and really fun for us.

Next on our list: a trip back to Tripoli to get our stuff. We'll see about that though. It's looking like things are settling down there. So we'll see. I read that they will have flights into Tripoli with BA by November 1st. As far as a visa goes, we aren't sure about that part.
I don't know. It's still in the works, and may or may not happen, but we are hoping it works out. It would be good to get our things, or at least some things, and see everything that has changed.

As far as the rest of our lives....everything is pretty much the same!
